My database has suddenly locked up

Hi
My database has suddenly locked up. I keep getting this message when I
try to add a new module:

The database has been placed in a state by user <name> on machine
<name> that prevents it from being opened or locked. (Error 3734)

What happened? How do I unlock the thing?

Is the user name and machine in the message you? If so, close you mdb and
look in the same directory for an ldb file. If it exists, delete it.
