R Ramesh, MS-MVP Jan 30, 2007 #2 Hi, To hide the namespace item from the "Other" section of the My Computer, you can use TweakUI. TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1/XP MCE/2003 [147 KB]. http://download.microsoft.com/downl...a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe Download/Install/Run TweakUI Select "My Computer" node in the left pane of TweakUI, and deselect the offending entry. Click OK. To remove the namespace entry manually, you'll have to edit the registry. Here are some examples: http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/51/1/ http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/87/1/ -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows XP Shell/User] Windows® XP Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com At the bottom of "My Computer" there is a section called 'Other' with some generic looking icon.
