I purchased a laptop and I used it at work. They configured it to gain access
to there network. Now I don't work there anymore and they are the
administrator on my computer. I get messages that say cannot connect to there
network. How can I take back control of my computer without losing all my
data. Can I restore the windows firewall back to default settings to
accomplish this? They have the firewall disabled? I believe this is because
they use a group setting I am not a techieee so any simple help will be
greatly appreciated Thank you inadvance for your help

Thank you Ian actually when I bought this computer I was with one company
then went to another company that also hooked it to there domain as well.
Left the company on bad terms they owe me money still so getting there
cooperation is not going to happen any other way I can take it back to an out
of the box status I do have the software nd the office service pack that came
with the laptop Thanks again for trying to help Curt
