You need tro install AVG from Grisoft to keep the computer clean, You get it
from http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1.
You also need Ad-Aware from Sweden, google for that and also advise to use
NoAdware. You will however have to pay a smnall amount for that.

Once they are installed and run, you have got rid of most of your trouble and
AVG will stop most other trouble.

Why don't you save off the files you want to retain, or use the files and
settings transfer wizard. Then do a clean install of Windows XP and
reinstall your programs and put back the files or restore the files and
settings via the wizard.
You will end up with a better running system and be rid of the problems.

Some suggestions:

This one can help you avoid these programs from being installed in the first
place:

Iceland is a very technically-advanced country. I'm sure you have fine
professional computer repair people there. Take your machine to one of
them. Allowing a total stranger to take control of your computer over
the Internet is not something you should do. Nor should you ever post
your real email address(es) on Usenet.

If you have already taken the machine to your local people and have not
had success, back up your data and wipe the drive. Clean-install
Windows and do not connect to the Internet until you have read some of
these links about staying safe.
