In "My Computer", the hard disk drive icon changed to a generic windows icon.
How do I change the icon back to the original icon which showed a hard
drive? I can't find a way to change the icon. All the other icons in My
Computer are fine and didn't change. The only icon I have a problem with is
the hard drive icon. I have XP Professional with SP2. Thanks.

Look for a file named autorun.inf in the root directory of the drive. If it exists, delete it.

Thanks, that fixed it.
