I recently reloaded XP Home and installed SP2. Since then when I click on
"My Computer" it may take up to 3 minutes for my drives and other info in My
Computer to appear. When they do, they show up as if I were running windows
98. All in one frame instead of separated into Drives, Document folders, and
other components. Anyone have any ideas?

Long delay before files appear in My Computer in Windows XP:

You can change the view from View menu, Arrange Icons by, Show in Groups.

Thanks Ramesh. That sort of put them back in order that I usually see in XP,
but still not right. It spread everything out into total separate groups.
Normal in XP is the Documents are on top separated by a line at the bottom
from the Drives separted by another line with Other in a third section.
Using the "show by groups" separated everthing except the drives. Any other
suggestions?

David,

"Arrange Icons by > Type" is selected? If that does not help, post a screenshot.
