My Computer Icon

When I double click My Computer Icon on the Desktop I
open to a flashlight panning left to right. There are no
Icons that identify the Floppy or CD-ROM, etc.
How do I recover them?

Hi Robert,

When you click Start and then click My Computer, or when you double-click My Computer on your Windows desktop, Windows may search (a flashlight may appear) for a long time (for example, 5 minutes) before files appear.

Disable the Windows Image Acquisition service.
