My Computer folder

Howard Brazee

Whenever I reboot, my editor opens a .INI file. Doing Windows Search,
I found that .INI file in the folder My Computer. Some interesting
random files are there that aren't visible when I click the "My
Computer" on my desktop.

What's going on here? Can I delete these?

Doing a search for "My Computer" from the dos prompt, I only find the
one in my start menu.

I found where "My Computer" was keeping these files - in

Local Settings\History subdirectories named:

today
Monday
Last Week
2 Weeks Ago
3 Weeks Ago
