Earlier on in the day my PC was fine. Now though, everytime I go to My
Computer it says windows has encountered an error and has to close the
application. Any ideas why? I've scanned everything for viruses and all looks
fine, could this just be teething problems on a new computer?

Thankyou...

That isn't an error message, that's just a generic message to let you know
something's wrong. Suggest you look in the error log for the real error
(Control Paner > Admin tools > System).

You should have no problems with a new system. As you are, you shouldn't be
posting to a newsgroup. Would you post to a newsgroup if something went
wrong with your new car? No, you would not. You'd take it back to the
dealer. Why should a computer be any different? Call the manufacturer.

Miss PT, what is a "(Control Paner > Admin tools > System)."? I don't find
it on my machine, not even in Help.
