I restarted my computer (Windows XP Home SP1) a week ago, and when I went
into My Computer, my Hard Drive (C) was no longer listed with my floppy, and
Cd and DVD drives. The only way to find it, is to run a search. I have
created a shortcut to it, and placed that on my desktop, otherwise, it is no
longer displayed. Can someone help me to get it to display, so that I can
access it easier. I need detail.

I tried this, didn't work. My F Drive (FAT32) is IBM Service with a healthy
partition, it only gives me the option to delete the partition. My C Drive
(NTFS) is IBM Preload with a healthy partition gives me the option to change
the drive letter path. however, it will not allow me to delete the drive
letter, and when I attempt to change it, it is grayed out, and I have had to
place it in an empty folder, within the contents of C, but, to no avail (it
is still not listed anywhere)

If you right click on my computer and go to "Manage" then select disk
management in the left hand pane the right hand pane should show your C
drive. Right click on the drive and give it a drive letter which may already
be selected as C, after that you should see it in "My Computer" view.
