Music skips in Media Player 9 with NVIDIA

Sound is skipping when playing mp3 or any sounds.

Using Win 98, Media Player 9, on new motherboard using
NVIDIA(R)nForce

Everything played fine before new motherboard and plays
fine using real player 1.

any suggestions?

i am having a problem with converting mp3 with media
player but it works on real player1 just fine...i wonder
if the problem is real player 1?????????some kind of
conflict going on????

Windows Media Player doesnt converstion feature. if you purchase the
encoder pack you can rip cd's in Mp3.
