music playing over multiple slides

hey i was wondering if i can get one music file to play over multiple slides. i am doing a powerpoint on rock and roll music and while talking about some bands, i would like to have their music playing. but since they take up more than one slide, i cant figure out how to do i

Just saw a billboard for RiverRunners or one o' those other brands of sandals
for kayakers/rafters/canoodlers. Just a close-up shot of a shod foot and the
headline: "A river runs through them"
