music cutter

i downloaded a music file from the internet yesterday. worked fine there is
only one problem, the whole cd is in 1 file i would like to cut the nr out
of the file and make seperate files of them.

nebody know a program for that??

Audacity should be able to handle that...see the pricelessware list.

Also, MP3DirectCut could be used (after you encode in Mp3 format, of
course.) I think it is fast and easy. (Though then you may have some
problems getting continuous sounding playback - mp3s often leave a
little "blip" in between each one. Just so you know.)

The best thing to do is take the CD and lay it
on a wooden butcher table. Take a microscope
and carefully find what you want to cut out.
Take a butcher knife and carefuly cut out the
part of the CD you want to cut out. Take the
piece you cut out and load it into your computer's
CD drive. you should have exactly what you are
looking for.

outstanding advie. After all I have to eat.
