I have outlook 2003 running on a network with the .pst
files in the 'shared' folder. When I log on as another
user on the same computer (I have outlook setup to access
the same shared folder) the E-mail rules don't seem to
work. They will have the rule name followed by "(on
other computer)". Is there a way to make the same rules
for recieving inbound mail work no matter what log in you
use? Do I simply uncheck "on this computer only" when
making the rule? I want to be able to check my own E-
mail on a 'guest' log in I have set up plus on my own log
in and have my messages available no matter which log in
I use. Is this possible? Thanks!

Note - be very very careful with this. It isn't supported by Microsoft. When
you access a PST file from a network drive, performance suffers, and you
risk data corruption in the PST file.

Do you use roaming profiles in Windows, presuming you're on a domain? It
might help keep this simpler. Not sure what to tell you about the rules
issue per se; I don't have OL2003 and don't use PST files :-(
