I've just loaded Outlook 2003. I'm new to Outlook.
Here's my question: My wife and I have different
accounts via Road Runner. I would like to set up Outlook
so that when she or I click on Outlook, it prompts us for
a password so that we each have our privacy as far the in
and out box of our accounts. Currently, when I click on
Outlook, it automatically goes to her inbox, showing all
her mail. How do I configure Outlook so that we each
have our privacy as far as email is concerned?

You can password protect your pst or data file if you setup
one for each of you.

Right click the top level folder
Select PROPERTIES
Click the ADVANCED... button
Click the CHANGE PASSWORD button...

Be aware that if you forget your password you will
not be able to access this folder without a LOT of
effort and some special tools.

Sorry to be dense. But I don't know what you mean
by "top level folder"

I did right click the top folder of the in box, then went
to properties but there is no "advance" button in the new
window.

The best way is to create a separate profile for each of you (with the Mail
applet in Control Panel), select the "prompt for which profile to use"
option, use a different PST file in each profile, and password-protect your
PST files.
