Multiple users problem

Just got this new P4 2.6GHz computer yesterday, so the
slate is as clean as it gets. Windows XP Home was already
installed, but not the rest of the bundled software. I
installed one of those (an encyclopedia). It runs fine for
me (I am the administrator). The other users (restricted
users, not adminsitrators) however get an error message
when they open the application. How do I get an
application to run for other users than the administrator?

I tried the same with a second application, the same
happened. Will I get this problem with every application I
load?

(Sorry, this may be a stupid question, I'm new to XP Home)

A lot of programs use installation routines that are not "multi-user aware".
Therein lies the problem. Try placing a shortcut to the program in the All Users
account (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs). This
should make the program available to all users.
