I am running Windows XP Home and recently when more than one user is logged
on everything runs slow and the computer does some wierd things. When the
Windows Task Manager is brought up with Ctrl + Alt + Delete it never shows
more than one user being logged on. Does anyone have any ideas on what is
causing this?

Hi,

An application being used by one of the other users (logged in but not
currently in use) is tying up the system. It may not have been designed with
FUS (fast user switching) in mind, and you may need to shut that application
down before switching users. FUS uses a bit of memory for each user that is
currently logged in, so that memory will not be available to other users.

Thanks Rick. That's what I was kind of thinking that it was. Now to find the
application that is tying up the system.
