Multiple users edit same spreadsheet at same time?

Is it possible for multiple users to edit the same Excel spreadsheet at the
same exact time? The spreadsheet resides on a shared folder on our network.
 
You can change the workbook to a shared workbook but do some reasearch on
shared books before you head down this path. There are a lot of trade offs to
be made when you share a workbook.
