Multiple Returns

I have a select query designed with the Wizard. The search field has only one
peramter but the query returns each occurrance that appears in the 2nd
database. How can I limit the number of returns to only one occurrance per
record?
 
Not sure what you mean.

A query will return ALL matching records.

What are you trying to accomplish?
