I have been having problems Outlook 2002 SP-2. Sorry if this been asked
before but I have been trying to figure this out for about 6 hours and still
have not seemed to correct this problem.

I can add new E-mail accounts to Outlook but when I create a new message I
am not able to access the Account button (I get "Unable to complete the
operation. A fatal error has occured in Outlook." message) . In addition
when I send or recieve, these new accounts are not sent or recieved. I also
seem to have "lost" all the Exchange Extensions (to whit "Rule Wizard", "Out
of Office assistant", "Junk mail", etc.) I had them earlier but they seem
to have gone bye bye when I tried to correct the former problem. I have
checked to see if I need any updates and I do not seem to need any. I have
run general computer maintance (Scandisk). I have also run the "Detect and
Repair." menu option. None of this has seem to help. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I ultimately uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook back
upto SP2. I was able to get most of the Exchange
Extensions working but I am still having problems. I
can not seem to send or receive from any account. :(
The are "set up" but none will work when I use the
dropdown menus, Send/Receive button(main menu), or
Send button from a message (Email).

Further clicking on the "Account" button in a Email
I get "Unable to complete the operation. A fatal
error has occured in Outlook," and clicking on
the "Send/Receive" button(main menu) I get "The
operation Failed".

Again any help on this would be appreciated. I
would like to get this working. :( BTW I have sent up
the Email accounts correctly. I can view test message
I sent before everything stopped workin in Outlook via
HTML mail software. I guess I am not concerned
that there is some registry setting that need to be
set (?).
