1. Mail sending under the wrong account. Had this problem before. I fixed it
by re-creating the profile. Now it's back again. The only update to Outlook
I saw was to the junk mail filter.

Creating the new profile caused problems 2 & 3:

2. Two Archives Folders. For some reason a new file has been created and now
I have archive and archive1. Is there anyway to merge the two and go back to
one?

3. Address book is empty. I have my contacts, but I'm unable to access them
in the address book, i.e. new mail message and selecting recipients.

Re your #2, I've just had a similar problem--see message immediately below
yours. Try running the Detect and Repair Tool on the Outlook help menu.

You might also have to create a new archive folder and IMPORT into it the
contents of your existing folder.

You probably need to authenticate to the outgoing server for the account
for which mail isn't being sent. There is a bug in Outlook 2003 SP-1 that
causes it to try the next account if sending on the designated account
fails, and the most common cause of that failure is not authenticating to
the outgoing server.

I am having a problem when sending and receiving email. I keep getting
Errors 0x8004011D,server not available, 0x80040115, connection to server not
available, there are 6 other machines in this office and noone except me is
having any problems. Our IT person has left and no no has been hired yet.
Can you help

What version of Outlook do you have? Do you have any anti-virus or
anti-spam software configured to scan your email? If so, turn off that
scanning - it may well be causing the problem.

This isn't helpful because messages aren't presented in the same order
within every client.

Open each and then drag-and-drop from the one you don't want to the one you
do. Then make sure File>Archive points at the correct one as well as your
individual folder archive properties. Right-click and Close the one you
don't want. Actually, you can right-click and close them both. An archive
PST doesn't have to be in the folder list in order for Outlook to use it.
Later, after closing Outlook, you can delete the extra one.
3. Address book is empty. I have my contacts, but I'm unable to
access them in the address book, i.e. new mail message and selecting
recipients.

Did you add the Outlook Address Book service back into your new profile?
Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address
books>Next. If Outlook Address Book isn't there, add it with Add>Additional
Address Books>Next. Afterward, right-click on Contacts, choose Properties,
then the Outlook Address Book tab and check the "Show this folder as an
e-mail Address Book" box.
