Recently started using Outlook 2003. Imported my .PST file from my old outlook 97, which was successful, but now I have two seperate Personal Folders displayed, and now, somehow, several sets of Contacts, only one of which actually contains my contact list.
I briefly had trouble getting my contacts to show up in my new mail "To:..." list, but have sort of gotten that to work
I have 2 questions: How can I get rid of the extraneous personal folder? I only need one; the one that contains my old information. There's no option to delete the extra.
Second, When I click the "To:..." button on a new email, I have to select the correct contact list from the drop-down before my contacts show up. There are 5 contacts folders listed, 3 of which are empty, and 2 of which are identical. How can I make it so the correct contact folder is the default (and get rid of the extras)

Thanks
Nick

If you go to (In outlook) tools\options\data files you
can get rid of the extra pst file. Be very careful that
you know which one you need and the one you want to
delete. Second if you go into tools\address book and then
select options you can select which contacts you want
displayed first. I wouldn't worry about getting rid of
the old ones. Hope this helps....
