Multiple monitors

I am using my laptop as primary, and LCD as secondary monitor. I know for
example how to have Outlook on my laptop, and an Excel sheet on my LCD. Is it
possible to have one Excel spreadsheet open on the LCD, and then open another
one on my laptop? Or having Outlook on one, and IE 7.0 on the other one?

Certainly, since you are already having applications on the second
screen why do you ask?
