multiple line form field

I am creating a form in Word 2003 that will, ultimately, be protected with
the "allow editing in form fields" only option.

However, I have several sections that require a narative entry - multiple
line, automatic text wrap. So far, I have only found this possible with
inserting a table. The problem is that the table is not recognized as a form
field when protection is active.

Is there a way to accomplish this without getting into complicated "computer
programming?" Any help would be appreciated.

Text entered into a formfield will automatically wrap if it exceeds the
space available on the line. If for some other reason, you want to insert a
table to control the layout of your form, you can insert a formfield inside
a cell of the table and it will be treated just the same as a formfield
located outside of the table when the document is protected for forms.
