Hello!

I am using Outlook 2003 and noticed I was low on disk space. I searched for
all files over 1MB in size and came up with 34 files with names such as
"{9C6F50A3-8C41-4962-8405-C6191F4DA2D0}.ost" that are 175MB to 204MB in
size. Why are there so many of them? I have nine of them from nine
consecutive days that are all identical in size, some of them are from the
same day and are the same size, some of them are a month old. What gives?

Thanks!

Gregg Hill

..ost files are offline storage files used by Outlook when you are offline
from your Exchange server. You should only have 1 .ost file for your
profile. Are you still on Exchange at work? If yes, then delete all .ost
files and resynch using a default .ost file name.
