Excel 2000
I just opened a file from a work associate that has only
one worksheet. However, when I click on window, I get two
files as follows;
"filename:1"
"filename:2"

what is ":"
How do I get rid of the second "version"

You have two windows open on the same file. Click on the "X" at the right end
of the window's title bar (or the right end of the toolbar) to close one of
them.
