I keep receiving multiple copies of the same e-mail over and over. I do not
have two Pop Server accounts but only one and I have outlook 2002. Help

If you have any anti-virus software scanning your incoming/outgoing mail -
disable it.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, frustrated one asked:

so now that I have disable my anti virus...what? I cannot leave it
off permanently.

No one told you completely disable your antivirus, just the email scnanner.

Thank you but I don't know 1) how to do that and 2) considering I'm part of a
rather large network I don't think they will allow me to permantly dismantle
the e-mail virus scanner.

Depends on the A/V product.

In large networks, the most prudent place to perform mail scanning is on the
server(s). Clients systems should not be burdened with that task.
