Hello,
I have a Microsoft Internet keyboard with programmable function keys.
Until a week ago, I was able to get multiple calculators by pressing the
"Calculator" button, but now I can only get one to appear. I search the
discussion group from the top English level and nothing about this problem.
Is there some setting that needs to be reset?
Thank you.

Bob I,
I even redownloaded the lastest driver and installed the driver again. I
still only get the single calculator. Are there any other possiblies?

I have it on Quick Launch and can launch as many as I like with one
click of the mouse. I used to have one of those keyboards that has all
the added buttons. I have since gotten rid of them and use a $15 Key
Tronic that's built like a tank and has lasted me for years.

Please review your keyboard manual / software settings. You need to double
check to see if the button is still programmed for the Calculator or not. If
it still it programmed, then that button has become "dead'.

Bob I: No it is not tiling because there is nothing under it and the tool
bar shows only one.

Yves Leclerc: Yes it is programmed to calculator and it is not dead, I
still get the first calculator, not the second or third.

Ok, what happens when you hit WinKey+R type in CALC and hit enter and
then repeat? Do you get several instances of Calculator running?

Bob I,
If the "WinKey" is the key on the left hand side between the "Ctrl" and
"Alt" (the key with the flyung window logo), then I get the "Run" from the
Start of the task bar. If the "WinKey" is somewhere else can you tell me
where?

No, that IS the WinKey. When you press WinKey+R you WILL get the run command
coming up. Bob I stated that you were to then type in CALC and hit enter.
The WinKey IS the one that you pressed.

Yes, Run CALC multiple times.

Martin C: Thank you for the answer and see what you are talking about.

Bob I: Yes I do get the multiple calculators. I just want to know why I
can not do the same thing with the "Calculator" button, which I was able to
do before the last week or two. I tried the button and then the RUN (a
number of times) and got the multiple calculator. When I did RUN once and
then the button and got two calculaors, but pressing the button further did
not generate anymore.

Then it has to be with the way the keyboard software starts the
application, as the operating system will run the application multiple
times just fine. perhaps a system restore to a week ago will reset the
keyboard actuation setting.

Bob I (and all the others that halped);
I think I found an answer. I started the keyboard software and instead of
using the default assigned key for the calculator I used the reassign editor
to "Start a program, Web page, or file" to the "calc.exe" in the Window root
system32. I can now get the multiple calculator. I just assume that the
default calculator would work.
Thank you again to all the people that help and the comments. Thank you Bob
I.
