I have written a .Net web based application for a company here in the US, and they are now asking for this to be used in Denmark as well. I am lost when it comes to what needs to be done to make this happen. I understand the displayed text and forms need to be changed to dutch but do I need to have other components installed for multilingual error msg. and support?

Making an application localizable takes a little bit of work. Too much to
explain in a newsgroup posting. But here are several great articles that
will get you going in the correct direction.
