multiday app.,be able to imput a note for each day main cal view

My company uses the calendar to show when a person is out of the office on a
work trip. You can schedule a multi-day event but you cannot (to my
knowledge) imput on the same line shown in the main calendar view individual
events for each day. For example, I leave on the 5th of a Month on the 8th
I start my class on the 11th I start my second class and on the 14th I return
home. I cannot post all that detail on the main calendar (which would also
be printed on the calendar view if this were possible) the only way I have
found to imput all of this information is to put it into the notes setion.
This will not print on the main 31 day calendar view.
