I need 2 instances of XP-pro on same machine... one partition set up with PC-Anywhere so I can log on to my office PC, and the other without this tool so my family can take advantage of XP's ability to switch users quickly. I have a 40 gig HD...
So.. If I create two partitions with XP (one 8 gig for work, the other 15 gig for home use), can I use the remaining space to install applications such as Office that I'll be using for both "work" and "home"

thanks!

Technically speaking it is indeed possible although you may have to install
the shared software twice. Even though you will be installing twice you
install it to the same location thereby saving space. Log in with admin
privileges to your home os and install. Then log in to your remote os using
a admin account and install to the same location.

Yes, it seems to be working. (but I'm not sure how happy I'll be with 3 partitions on a 40 gig HD! Good to know it's feasible though
