Multi VPN connections

I have a new laptop. On my old laptop I could connect to several VPNs at the
same time and access the internet with Internet Explorer. On the new PC I
can only access one VPN at a time and I can not access the internet while
connected to that one VPN. The connecting and disconnecting of VPNs to switch
connections or access the internet is a pain in the butt.

What settings do I need to change to make the new PC work like the old PC?

Appreciate any help.
