In know that you can set up a multiboot situation with Xp and an earlier
version of windows on the same hard drive. I want to do this with XP Pro
and XP home - each OS on a different partition of the same master hard
drive. Will this work - do I have to get 3rd party software to make this
work? What if I have the two installs on separate hard drives in the same
machine? Any way to easily switch back and forth between them?

Thanks,

Michael

You can install another version of Windows XP on a different
drive or partition. Windows XP will automatically install a
dual boot loader so you can select which O/S to boot into.
