The producer had to close his enterprise, because of a combination of
unnamed events.

So, wave a good bye to a wonderful program, and appreciate this very
last version, as long as the server is still there to provide it.

So it would seem! You do not give any indication what the program does (or
did). I looked at the site, and I am still no more knowledgeable. How do you
know it was for a very sad reason? Just curious.

I'm getting FTP 412 Too many users connected, so be patient or set your
download manager to retry for you or try in a few hours.

It is a mailing program, written first for the MacIntosh, and was
supposed to be expanded with a calendar, when everything went bad. I
don't know about the details, only that the company ran out of money.
Mulberry was popular among the Mac users.

Too bad it's $ware, so: Why did you start discussion here in ACF instead
of alt.comp.shareware?

It *was* Payware; didn't you look at the ISAMET link that I provided?
The author has definitely turned it into *official* abandonware, one of
the rare cases where it is documented.

Exactly where does it say this? I don't see any words to that effect on:

Good Question.

On his Good Bye Email Cyrus Daboo wrote that the Software was handed
over to bankruptcy trustee and I havent found any sayings about
Licensing from him until now.

Here is the Part of his Mail.

"Right now all assets of the company are in the hands of the
bankruptcy trustee, including the software and other items that make up
the Mulberry product suite. Whilst there might be some opportunity to
recover those at some point in the future, there would certainly be no
business left from it as customers would likely have switched or be in
the process of switching to alternative clients. Building up a new
business from scratch would be very hard."

Hope that helps,
