Everytime my computer starts I get this message, "
MSSvc.EXE encoutered a problem and needs to close"

It doesn't do anything like shutting down my computer, I
just close the message but it is aggravating to see every
time the PC is turned on.

I have virus software(Panda) thats updated regularly,
have the latest patches from Microsoft. Firewall on &
Running Windows XP

How can I removed this message.

Google Is Your Friend(tm). Using the search term "MSSvc.EXE" brings me
the information that this is coming from something called "Stealth
Disk". Here's the link for you to research:

I have found this file (MSSvc.EXE) hidden in my
Windows/recylcler folder along with some files( ****.dll
masters.dll ftp.exe )
when I try to rename or delete these I get an Access
denied message. Any other way of removing these files ?

Truthfully, I'm not crazy about Panda. I'd do two things: 1) download
and scan with a different av, or try a Trojan killer (Google for one);
2) download, install, and scan with spyware removal tools Spybot Search
& Destroy (www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com).
Be sure to update the spyware tools before running them, and I'd run
everything in Safe Mode. I like to use both Spybot and Ad-aware because
they are free (Ad-aware comes in a paid version, but you don't need it)
and each one usually catches things the other doesn't. Certainly you
can also try removing the suspect files in Safe Mode, but if you have
one nasty on your system, it's very likely you have more.
