I cannot open msn messanger nor windows messanger. I have
a windows popping up telling me that msnmsgr.exe
application error and The instruction at 0x77f58e20
referenced memory at 0x1d840ff6. The memory could not be
written. When I press Ok another window of the same kind
appears with the same message but with different numbers.
After a few of these windows I have to clickOK to
terminate the program. Tried to restore my windows xp a
few days back when everything was working fine and that
hasn't helped. any idea what the problem is and how to
solve it?

I had been reading previous messages and followed the
instruction to uncheck instant messaging from my Norton
Antivirus Options but, that didn't make the trick either.
Besides, Outlook express takes for ever to open
