MSN-Messenger is Not Working & Technet question

Dear All,

i have 2 questions , Please help me :-

the First one :-

i have a big Problem here , in my Network, my messenger sometimes not
working at all ,and give some error messages , i cant remmber it now , but i
found :-

1. some times is working on some users while the other is not working .

2. agian some times at all , is not working and it gives an error message,.

can any one help me what is going on ?

Second one :-

i have one questions Regarding TEchnet.
as you are a ware , when i need to Access Techent , i used to do the
following :-

1-go to the web browser & Type ( Technet.com).
2-choose ( Join News Group ).
3-Choose the software which i want it .
4- Choose which level i need.
5- Choose Post New questions , then i log with My normal account in Hotmail.

Now i can see i am able to post Messages to you , but i want to know that ,
why is there is Technet subscribtion ?

and do you think i need to have Techent subscribtion for Login to this news
Group ? or i do not need it , Because i am using it now without any Problem ?

my questions is :-

some People told me that , ( Medo, To be able to post a new messages to the
technet , which is News Group, you have to have subscribtion to the technet ,
otherwise you will find your self unable to post any messages in the technet
News group .

i reply on them , no guys, i am able to post messages and i can see the
reply without any subscribtion . is that for free , or i have to have
subscribtion ?

Note that , i am download all of the resource kit for every sodtware i use
from the internet .


Please some one help me to solve it ?

TOOLS menu
choose ----Accounts
INTERNET ACCOUNTS window appear
choose ----- news tabe
Click ADD BUTTON --- choose NEWS
a wizard will guide you trough 3 steps
first: Put the name you want to be viewed with in NewsGroups
second: put your e-mail in case you want to share it (a case sensetive)
third: configure the NNTP server "news protocol"
which is : msnews.microsoft.com ----> "put this in the NNTP wizard"
then close INTERNET ACCOUNTS window
then go ahead & click in the left Pane of Outlook Express
Click Newsgroups
All Microsoft News group will appear to you
subscribe
