If you can hear yourself, then your audio is misconfigured.
This is probably the problems the others who have posted also.

Hi,

Having the same problem with Logital Quick-cam zoom.
Video fine, Audio dead.

The Guide to setup run fine.

What is missing ?

Dennis

First of all read some of the prior postings, second do not use the mic in
the camera, use the one connected to the sound card (you do have one do you
not:} If not get one. Do not select the mic in the camera select the sound
card and the mic that is plugged into the sound card.
Logitech makes good cameras, they don't know anything about audio.

If you can hear yourself speak, then your audio system is misconfigured. I
have posted several time on this newsgroup on how to configure, just do some
reading.

Joel

1. Click the Sound Icon in your System Tray
2. Select Options/Properties
3. Make sure the microphone "is not checked" in the play back mode.
4. Select the Recording mode and make sure the Microphone " is check".

Earl,

Thank you for the suggestion but the configuration is as you suggested it
should be. I shall have to keep trying.

Martin

Martin I send you a mail.
