MSN MEssenger 6.1

Good day,
I keep getting a message which says MSN Messenger has a new version (6.1) available, click to install or X to continue. I already have 6.1 installed. This happens initially when I log on to the internet, and happens sometimes even when MSN is running.......??
Anyone know why ????

It's prompting you to install a new version of 6.1. MSN Messenger is updated on a
semi-regular basis, the version you're using is either 6.1.0155 or 6.1.0202 -- the latest
version is 6.1.0203. Simply click 'Yes' and let it upgrade to remove the message.

OK Jonathan. I had trid that a litle while back, and after wasting internet time (I am not on an unlimited time connection) the darn thing apparently downloaded corruptly
Wouldn't load, so I thought it was a problem....Will try again then....

Actually, after writing this, I checked only to see I am using the latest version - 6.1.0203. ?So then that leads me to ask, Why is it telling me this.....

Every time I start up too, both of them start or want to start.....How can I stop Windows Messenger from starting up??.
