When trying to use voice conversation with MSN 6 my
computer freezes and the processor show 100% and stays
there. Although when I use voice conversation on Yahoo,
ICQ it works just fine. I even took my pc back to where I
bought it from we tested it with an older version of MSN
and it worked fine. At the store we used dial up and at
home I have cable DSL...any ideas why this is hapening?

Greetings,

Interesting problem, are you using the final version of MSN Messenger 6? You can find out by
opening up MSN Messenger, choose the Help menu, then About. The final version is 6.0.0602.
If you're using another version, download the latest here:
http://messenger.msn.com

However, you may find it helpful to upgrade your audio drivers to the latest on WindowsUpdate
(or from your hardware manufacturer), you can do so here:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (after scanning, click Drivers).

I'd also be interested in knowing which audio device you have -- if you don't know, you can
quickly find out by running the Audio/Video Tuning Wizard. To do so, open up a Messenger
window, click the Tools menu, then Audio/Video Tuning Wizard. At the Microphone/Speakers
options your Audio Device will be displayed.
