MSI Mega 180 PC opinions as PVR?

I am thinking of getting an MSI Mega 180 PC and setting it up as a
PVR. I am assuming I need a TV tuner to get it to act as a PVR. Does
anyone have any first hand experience with one of these (Mega PC)? It
looks pretty good...I was looking into seeing if it is worth building
my own, but the price looks pretty decent for what you get for
~$300-$350 bucks.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

As a followup question. How do TV tuners do at displaying video on a
TV when acting as a PVR? Would an actual PVR(like a Tivo) display the
video better?

They don't. Tuner cards only input video. You need a graphics adaptor
with video out to display on a TV.
