MSDE Deployment

Hi,

We are currently using MSDE as a local database for our customer focussed
applications. Does anyone else deploy MSDE with their applications and if so
what model do you use?

What do you mean?
 
By model I mean what approach do you take for integrating MSDE into your
general application deployment. Do you install the MSDE seperately or do you
have an effective method for installing the MSDE as part of the application
setup project?

The reason I ask is that we had attempted to integrate the MSDE into our
applications initial setup procedure on its first execution. We then get
warnings on XP machine with the latest updates saying this is not
permissable.

What approach to installing MSDE do you take?
