MSDE 2005 is it available?

Hi,

I would like to know if MSDE 2005 is available as I cannot seem to find it
anywhere. Do I have to have VS.NET 2005, or anything else.

Hi Roy,

SQL Server 2005 has not been released to the public as of yet. The release
date is +/- the the 7th of November. For more information on the licensing,
you may want to refer to this article.

Essentially, it will be free as the current MSDE is. You won't have to have
any other tool to be allowed to develop with it.

Hello Roy,

MSDE 2005 doesn't exist. You can use SQL Server 2005 Express I think.
