I just tried reinstalling XP Home on my other computer after I decided to get the address bar in windows explorer back (registry key was deleted by my cat when i was trying to delete the "My Search Bar" key) and now it gives me an error saying "the procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL". It seems to happen during the "Registering Components" phase. Many people have said that the installation continues, but with mine i click "ok" and it just pops right back up (clicked "ok" about 60 times and still reappeared), it also in the background says that there is 13 minutes left in setup. Anyone know a way around this because I cannot use my desktop until windows is reinstalled.

I have tried the other suggestions of starting task manager and ctrl+click and neither seems to work, but it seems like i may still have harddrive access through my network, is the MSDART.DLL file on my harddrive? if it is i have another XP machine which i could get the SP1 version from...

okay its fixed a little bit now, I went to "processes" in "task manager" and closed unregmp2.exe, wow I learned that from nuking spyware... wonder if sometimes that stuff is goo
but thanks anyway
