MSCOREE.DLL problems

Running WinXP SP2 Media 2005 (Net 2.0)

1. the procedure entry point GetRequestedRuntimeInfo could not be located in
the dynamic link library mscoree.dll

2. C:\windows\microsoft\.net\framework\v.2.050727\mscoree.dll could not be
located.

Anyone assist these very old and drybones?

Try reinstalling .NET Framework 1.1

Downloaded the Redistributable Package. will see if stuff works now.

Will I have to re-install the SP 2?

What SP2 are you referring to? AFAIK the latest Service Pack for .NET Framework 1.1
is SP1

Okay, wound up having to install the Redistributable Package and errors
still showed up.
Got mad in the face and decided to insert my Windows SP2 CD and re-install
it.

All problems with MSCOREE.dll have disappeared.

Thanks to you and all who advised these very old and drybones.
