How can I remove everything listed under the msconfig startup tab? I know it is listed under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\SHAREDTOOLS\MSCONFIG but do I just delete everything and let windows recreate or what? I have a teenage daughter that thinks everything needs to be in startup so there is a ton of items listed there. After taking all the checks out except for my virus protection, deleting all temp files, running spybot and virus programs, when I go back in there are items that are checked that I know the check was removed from. I just want to delete them all and start over since she is no longer using my computer. Thanks for any help...

Look for an option of run at start in the offending program's options/setup
and disable it.
