I'm using windows 2000 and when I try to start msconfig
from the command prompt I get an error saying to make sure
the path and filename are corrent and that all required
libraries are available. How can I get msconfig to run?
I tried searching my computer for the program but it isn't
there.

W2k doesn't come with msconfig. You can use Start/Settings etc to do
what you want (see Help for details if you need them), or find and
download a copy of the XP msconfig applet on the web or elsewhere - it
works on W2k.

Find a copy of WondowsXP and copy msconfig. Insert it
into the Winnt\system32 directory. Then you can 'run'
msconfig.
