MSCONFIG Problem

Hi:

On MSCONFIG/Startup, all the boxes are unchecked, and I can't check any of
them.

Any ideas? All assistance is appreciated.

Have you run a full virus scan?
Various peices of malware have been known to interfere
with msconfig.

Yes, Norton with the most current definitions. Nothing was detected.

Are you an administrator? Many possible items on that list require admin permissions to alter. I typically have nothing a user can alter.
 
Yes, the only user on my machine is Owner and the profile indicates
"computer administrator."
