msconfig not responding

When I type in the run box, msconfig, I get nothing...any ideas on what cuases this and how do I restore!
 
Have you done a virus scan recently? There is a virus that will cause this
problem. (And pardon me for asking, but you are clicking on OK after you
type msconfig, aren't you?)
