I remember that MSAS & CounterSpy originated from the same author, in fact
for the first year MS provided CounterSpy with some of their definition
updates.
Can anyone remember the name of that originating software provider?

Thanks Mhzjunkie,
That helped me to find to keys in my computer register, which I have been
looking for. My computer is only 6 months old and CounterSpy has been
installed on this computer within that time frame. However, the name "Giant
AntiSpyware Service Hook" is in two places in my Register. I suspect that
MSAS will also have these Registry entries.
